The Print Credenza

The Print Credenza

SUMMER 2012

I've always been inspired by the modern home. Growing up I was surrounded with furniture inspirations from Hans Knoll, Charles and Ray Eames, Russel Wright and the like. All inhereited from my grandfather who was a pioneer of the mid-century modern era of the 1950's. This credenza was conceived from that inspiration and with hundreds of wood pieces also called 'furniture'. Furniture are tools of the letterpress tradition. Overtime, these individual blocks collected a variety of unique colors, stained through the countless processing of stories and events. Now, these pieces stand together immortalized through a common beauty paying homage to the founding of modern graphic design.
